Simple, no fuss, functional, and rugged design has been the Hallmark of K-2 packs, which are made expressly for New Zealand conditions by Lauren at Kelly Country Brightwater, near Nelson.
The concepts of these designs work well and K-2 packs, bags, and accessories have become hugely popular with serious outdoor users, from hunters through to professionals working in pest control like DoC, and other agencies.
Popular amongst hunters are the Alpine 85L packs with their internal steel frames or the Hunter packs with external frame series in 70L, 85L, and 95L.
Apart from bulletproof construction and durability, the packs straightforward design suits our hunting environment across the board, from lowland or bush hunting to serious alpine conditions, key features to support this is being compact in design, balance and no extraneous straps and buckles to catch on scrub or add noise in tight bush situations.
