The local fire brigade required a cover for their Stokes Basket to protect it to be carried on top of the fire engine. I successfully designed and constructed this pvc bag, which they are thrilled with it fits great and makes it so much easier for them being in a bag with carry handles and can easily be transported on top of the fire engine.

Once again the fire brigade required a bag for their chimney sweeping brushes and rods, previously they would use a sack but this proved a challenge climbing on a roof up the ladder and trying to carry the bag as well. I designed this bag with a place to put the rods, seperate pockets on the front to house the extra brushes. Most importantly I attached straps so the bag can easily be slung over the shoulder and leave two hands free to climb the ladder and safely get on the roof. The brigade members report this has been a great success and they are delighted to have everything in one place and easy to access. |
